During the first few days after the Typhoon hit some parts of the Philippines, several of our members volunteered to pack relief goods together with other organizations such as Red Cross and Gawad Kalinga. Thousands of Filipinos volunteered in many cities to prepare relief items for the victims. The Lodges also donated preliminary relief goods to families of Odd Fellow members who were living in those affected cities and, also, to non-members.

As of now, Odd Fellows in the Philippines received about $25,000 donation from Odd Fellow in Sweden and Norway. The Lodges are now planning the "Odd Fellow Relief operations" for this December 2013. Several members representing various Lodges in the Philippines will travel to some of the affected sites to bring some help and also do volunteer work. Because many other non-governmental and governmental organizations focused on donating food items, the Odd Fellows in the Philippines may focus on non-perishable relief items such as blankets, pillows, carpentry tools that can be used to rebuild houses and kitchen kits.
